NIGHT OF THE ARTS
SPRING CONCERT

Thursday, April 24 - 6:00 - 8:30 pm

Please join us for “Night of the Arts”. Treat your senses to a celebration of Art, Music and Literature. Students in grades PreK-8 have created artwork for your viewing pleasure. Much of the artwork is related to published literature as well as students' own writings.  Make sure you visit “Camp Caldecott”.

Grade 3-5 Spring Concert - 7:00 pm
Be entertained by our 3rd-5th graders as they entertain with song and dance. Listen to both current and past students as they share their love of instrumental music.

LENTEN
GUATEMALAN PROJECT

We will once again focus our Lenten
activities  in support of our friends in
   Guatemala.  Students purchased Chupa
Chups Spanish lollipops for .50 for 2 days
and they were sold out!  The Student
   Council sold jelly beans (small
bags for .50 each) and "Mystery" Easter
Eggs (plastic Easter eggs containing a
certificate redeemable for a variety of prizes
   for $1).

The next out-of-uniform day for $1.00 is
   scheduled for Thursday, May 1.

All funds collected will be presented to
Padre Mario when he visits our school May
7th & 8th.  These funds will help provide
medical care for the village children.

Congratulations....
to our 5th grade students who had their D.A.R.E. Graduation Tuesday, April 8.  We appreciate the support of the W St Paul Police Department for their working with our 5th grade students and for our Home and School Association for their financial support of this program.

Spotlight

Student Council delivered "mystery Easter eggs" to students who paid $1.00.  Monies will go towards our Guatemalan project.

Congratulations to our 6th grade students for all their work on their Biography Fair.  After research and classroom presentations, the 6th graders portrayed a famous person with posters, displays, props and costumes.  Parents and students from other grades enjoyed getting a "glimpse" into the life of a famous person.

Congrtatulations to our boys and girls, who participated in Swim Team finals at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
