Sacramental Preparation

During daily religion classes, students in 2nd Grade prepare to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist. 

Catholic students entering 2nd grade at St. Joseph's Church and School are eligible to prepare for First Reconciliation and Eucharist. These Sacraments are administered through the Parish following Archdiocesan guidelines, meaning your child's religion classes are only a portion of the process.

Requirements:

• Proof of Baptism (if child is not Catholic, additional steps will be necessary)
• Parent meetings
• Parent and Child meditations 
• Retreat
